FEDERAL REGIONAL YOUTH ASSEMBLY APPRECIATION CEREMONY 2025
This ceremony was held to appreciate the contributions and achievements of the members of the Federal Territory Youth Assembly throughout the 2025 term. At this ceremony, the Chairman of Seputeh HYO received the Pingat Jasa Cemerlang in recognition of his performance and commitment in implementing various community initiatives. This recognition serves as an inspiration to the youth to continue to actively serve the community.
INTERNATIONAL AWARDS SUMMIT 2025
The International Awards Summit 2025 has become a platform for recognizing outstanding figures and organizations in various fields. In this program, HYO Chairman Seputeh, received the Global Excellence in Leadership Award, a very proud achievement. This award recognizes his continuous contributions in youth leadership, community service and community development at a broader level.
HYO 75TH DIAMOND JUBILEE ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
The 75th Diamond Jubilee celebration of HYO was held in great splendor and became a historic moment for the organization. In this ceremony, Seputeh HYO received recognition as the Best HYO in Malaysia. HYO Seputeh Chairman, Mr. Pravin Balasubramaniam and Deputy Chairman, Dr. Loshseni Gunasegaran were awarded the Ilanyar Thilagam. The founders of the organization, Mr. Balasubramaniam Nadason and Pn. Nageswary Kandasamidik were awarded the Sevai Thilagam for their contributions. This achievement is a great source of pride and a testament to the organization's continued dedication to youth development.
GLOBAL YOUTH CONGRESS 2025
Global Youth Congress 2025 is an international conference that brings together youth from various countries to discuss global issues through presentations, dialogues and resolutions. Participation in this program is very proud when the organization's representative is selected as one of the best delegates and also receives international recognition for their contributions in youth leadership and community development.
NATIONAL YOUTH PRIME MINISTER AWARD AT FEDERAL REGIONAL LEVEL 2025
The 2025 National Youth Day celebration at the Federal Territory Level was held successfully and brought together many leaders and youth organisations. In this event, Seputeh HYO recorded a proud success when it received third place in the organisation category, while its chairman also received third place in the male individual category in the 2025 Federal Territory Level APBN.
WORKSHOP ON EMPOWERING ECONOMIC SKILLS FOR CIVILIAN WOMEN: GENERATING ECONOMY FROM AGRICULTURE AND KITCHEN WASTE
This workshop was organized to empower young women through sustainable product innovation skills and awareness of environmental sustainability. Participants were involved in the production of eco-friendly soap from kitchen waste as well as sharing sessions on home farming and social harmony. This program successfully improved the participants' practical skills and confidence in generating a sustainable economy.
CPR & AED Training
This training program provided participants with exposure to basic life-saving skills through CPR techniques and the use of AEDs. Theoretical and practical sessions conducted by certified instructors increased participants' awareness of the importance of acting quickly in emergency situations. This program also instilled the values of concern, preparedness and social responsibility among youth.
NATIONAL SPORTS DAY SEPUTEH REGIONAL LEVEL 2025
The Seputeh Area Level National Sports Day 2025 celebration was held with great enthusiasm and involved the participation of the community from all walks of life. Various sports and recreational activities were carried out in line with the theme "Malaysia Aktif". This program successfully promoted a healthy lifestyle, strengthened community unity and demonstrated close cooperation between youth, agencies and the local community.
SPORTS & RECREATION 3.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROMOTION CAMP
This two-day, one-night program brought together youth from around Kuala Lumpur to participate in various sports, fitness and recreational activities. Participants were exposed to elements of discipline, cooperation, mental focus and a healthy lifestyle. The presence of youth figures in the sharing session also inspired participants about the importance of involvement in organizations and youth leadership development.
VINAYAGAR CHATURTHI FESTIVAL – ANNATHANAM (FOOD SERVING & PACKING)
This community service program was implemented in conjunction with the Vinayagar Chaturthi celebration with the involvement of volunteers in the annathanam food packaging activity. This annual initiative reflects the spirit of volunteerism, togetherness and the value of service among the members of the organization. The program also strengthens the relationship between the youth, the temple and the local community through meaningful charitable activities.
11TH INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA 2025
The 11th International Day of Yoga 2025 celebration was held with the participation of school students and teachers in a meaningful atmosphere. This program aims to raise awareness about the importance of yoga practice in maintaining physical and mental health. The joint organization of various organizations also succeeded in strengthening community cooperation in promoting well-being.
FOOD AND WELFARE DONATIONS TO THE MALAYSIAN ANIMAL WELFARE ASSOCIATION
HYO Seputeh has held a fundraiser to raise funds to contribute to MAWA Animal Shelter. This program was implemented through a fundraiser to support the operations of MAWA Animal Shelter which cares for over 400 dogs, cats and turtles. Donations including food supplies, medical assistance and support for animal keepers were channeled. This initiative shows concern for animal welfare and increases community awareness. This program also encourages the participation of volunteers in ongoing animal welfare activities.
SPORTS & RECREATION INTRODUCTION AND PROMOTION CAMP 2025
This program successfully brought together 70 youth through various fun sports and recreational activities. Participants were exposed to rope jumping sessions, sport stacking and team building activities that emphasized discipline, focus and the spirit of cooperation. This program also had a positive impact in fostering a healthy lifestyle and active involvement of youth.
MEGA HISTORICAL TAMIZH PUTHANDU 2025 CELEBRATION
The Mega Historical Tamizh Puthandu 2025 celebration was held with great enthusiasm thanks to the collaboration of various NGOs, business communities and local communities. Seputeh HYO organized several traditional activities such as uri adithal, colouring competitions, kolam painting and flower arrangements. This program successfully revived the spirit of culture, community unity and active involvement of the youth.
23RD ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The 23rd Annual General Meeting of the Seputeh Branch Hindu Youth Organization was held on 15 March 2025 in a hybrid format. The meeting was chaired by a welcoming speech by the Honorary Secretary of HYO Seputeh, Mr. Navien and continued with a speech by the Chairman of HYO Seputeh, Mr. Pravin and an opening by Mr. Kishore Kumar, Secretary General of the Malaysian Hindu Youth Council.
FOOD DONATION PROGRAM TO ELDERLY HOMES
This welfare program involved a visit by the Vice Secretary, Sdr. Revathi together with Committee Member, Sdr. Tirnishaa to a senior citizen's home, where HYO Seputeh delivered midday meal donations to the residents. This activity aimed to ease their burden and instill the value of love and concern among members. The participants also spent time interacting with the senior citizens. This program reflects HYO Seputeh's commitment in carrying out social responsibilities to the community in need.
BRIGHT MIND
The Sergah Minda program was held as an early year discussion session involving committee members to plan the activity calendar throughout 2025. This meeting focused on strategic planning, task distribution and community and youth program proposals. The discussion was chaired by the HYO Seputeh leadership and received the full cooperation of all committee members. This program successfully set the direction of the organization in a more organized and systematic manner.
